FEATURING WHEELCHAIR AND SCOOTER LIFTS FROM AMERICA'S TOP MANUFACTURERS:
.

About Our Business:

I installed my first Bruno wheelchair lift in 1993 when a friend could not find a dealer to install his Veteran’s Administration provided Bruno Curbsider.  I was very impressed with the quality of the Bruno lift and even more impressed by the technical support I was provided to assist me in the installation.  When I determined that there were no providers of this service in the area I decided to become a Bruno dealer to help people in our area.  I opened Grizzard Living Aids within Wig's Wheels bicycle shop in Anniston, Alabama.

I am licensed by both Alabama and Georgia Departments of Labor to install stairlifts and vertical platform lifts.  This certification comes after successful completion of Bruno Independent Living Aids and Ram Manufacturing’s certification exam.  I install straight rail and custom made stairlifts and both interior and exterior vertical platform lifts.  We also install wheelchair lifts in and on vans, pickup trucks, SUVs, crossovers, cars and even motor homes.

I am approved by The Veterans Administration and Alabama Department of Rehabilitation for wheelchair repairs, wheelchair lift installations, stairlift and vertical platform lift installations.  I am a repair dealer for Merits Mobility, Pride Mobility, Rascal Mobility (formerly Electric Mobility), Golden Technologies, and a field service technician for Pride Mobility.  I can order parts and provide repairs on these products.  I also replace batteries, tires, and wheels on all brands of wheelchairs, powerchairs and electric scooters.

I enjoy helping our customers improve their lives by being able to stay in their own homes instead of having to move in with relatives or to an assisted living facility when their physical limitations no longer allow them to go up and down stairs.  Many studies have shown that people do much better when they are allowed to stay in familiar surroundings.  People with full mobility often don’t appreciate their freedom to go shopping, to worship or to participate in their community.
